There are a variety of ways to access the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and its institutions. Patient and visitor access is our top priority via ample parking and convenient alternative modes of transportation. Ride the Wave around the BNMC and take in the latest streetscape improvements and building erected on your way to your destination. The Wave runs every 10 minutes beginning at 589 Ellicott Street lot continuing on to High Pointe, Buffalo General Hospital (pharmacy entrance), and the NFTA station.
The BNMC is proud to have multiple Buffalo CarShare hubs on and near the BNMC. Our partners at GO Bike Buffalo and Buffalo CarShare offer the Buffalo BikeShare option to CarShare members using the Social Bicycles on the Medical Campus. The GPS-trackable bikes allow users to get around Buffalo conveniently.
We also provide a variety of transportation options for employees. The GO BNMC initiative is helping employees on the BNMC save money, help the environment and walk the healthier walk. Employees from each member institution are provided with access to and information about alternative transportation options, making the commute to work much easier and less stressful. GO BNMC members also get rewards and incentives for choosing to commute to work by biking, walking, taking public transit, or carpooling.
