Buffalo Medical Group, P.C. (BMG) was founded by four internists in 1946, and today the Group is among the oldest and largest multi-specialty physician group practices in New York State, and the largest in Western New York.
As a physician-directed, community-wide organization, the mission of Buffalo Medical Group is to improve the health of its patients by delivering high quality, cost effective and accessible health care.
With more than 100 primary care, specialist and sub-specialist physicians, and a team of mid-level providers, nurses, therapists and support staff, BMG offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services at primary locations in Williamsville, Orchard Park, and on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus at 85 High Street, and at 19 satellite sites throughout Western New York. BMG also operates its own New York State Health Department approved infusion center as well as laboratory, X-ray, nuclear medicine, physical therapy and radiation therapy departments.
Using a multidisciplinary approach in the delivery of patient care, Buffalo Medical Group records more than 475,000 outpatient visits annually.
Most BMG physicians are members of the medical staff at Kaleida Health hospitals, and many have privileges at Catholic Health hospitals, Erie County Medical Center, and other hospitals in the region.
