Community Work Sessions

Building on our work sessions in April, we are ready to discuss draft proposals for a neighborhood plan and strategy, covering the following topics

At Allentown Work Session • Framework Plan Priorities Retail Strategy Main Street Strategy BNMC Partnerships and Connections

At Fruit Belt Work Session • Framework Plan Priorities Housing Strategy Infrastructure Projects Workforce Initiatives

Over the summer, we will put together a recommended strategy to be carried out in concert by the community, the City, BNMC, and other stakeholders to improve the Allentown and Fruit Belt neighborhoods in the short and long term. Please join us in the second work session to discuss these issues.

Walking on Wednesdays

Wednesdays 12:10 - 12:50 pm
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
All walks start at Kaminski Park
(at Carlton and Elm streets, Roswell Park Cancer Institute grounds)

Every Wednesday starting May 21 through November 5, 2008 a walking group is guided throughout the medical campus and the surrounding neighborhoods.

These guided walks are FREE and open to all employees on the BNMC and the public. Each week will feature prizes, giveaways, and a different route.
