William Joyce began volunteer service to the hospital system in 1991 as a member of the Millard Fillmore Board of Directors and subsequently became Vice Chair and Treasurer. He joined the Kaleida Board in 2000 and currently serves as Chair.

He is a partner in Strategic Investments & Holdings, Inc., a position he has held since 1986.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance & Commerce and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Other community service involvement includes – past Chair and current member of the Board of Trustees of Goodwill Industries of WNY, member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, and the Executive Committee of the Board of Advisors of the Not for Profit Resource Center. He is a guest lecturer on mergers and acquisitions for the Canisius College MBA program and Case Moderator of the Executive Development Program of the Harvard Business Club of WNY.

Bill is a native of Eggertsville and he and his wife, Anne, currently reside in Snyder.
